Scholarly Journals are an important component in research. Journals are often a more authorative source of information because members in a certain academic or professional discipline typically write them. Because they are published as a serial, there is a better chance that their research is the most current information published on a give topic. We are fortunate that journal articles are much easier to access since the availablility of databases that offer both full-text articles and citations to scholarly journal articles. The D'Arcy McNickle library spends a significant amount of its research budget on databases that offer scholarly journal articles for our researchers to access.

Students can access these databases from home by going to the library homepage and select the Databases link under ONLINE RESOURCES. You will need a username and password that you can pick up at the library.
