Giving to the Library The D’Arcy McNickle Library’s Mission includes “making a special effort to collect all materials relating to the Tribes, their history and culture and Reservation affairs.” From the Salish Kootenai College’s beginning the D’Arcy McNickle Library has been a central element in its’ learning environment. A gift to the D’Arcy McNickle Library will help students and faculty in their learning pursuits. A gift to the D’Arcy McNickle Library will help ensure the tribes history and culture, are gathered together for the study and pursuit of knowledge for following generations. You may give to the Library’s Memorial Fund, which is used to augment the Library’s current budget. You may designate your donation go towards the purchase of books, payment of databases subscriptions, or journal subscriptions. The library is reconfiguring its’ space with plans to better utilize the area it is currently in. Donations are welcome towards student study tables and chairs that will allow for efficient use of the space available.
