Quote Rotator

"To those with ears to hear, libraries are really very noisy places. On their shelves we hear the captured voices of the centuries-old conversation that makes up our civilization."
Timothy Healy
"A great library contains the diary of the human race."
George Mercer Dawson
"As a child, my number one best friend was the librarian in my grade school. I actually believed all those books belonged to her."
Erma Bombeck
"A good library will never be too neat, or too dusty, because somebody will always be in it, taking books off the shelves and staying up late reading them."
Lemony Snicket
